  • Rec. Player Printing Options

    Printing Recommendation
ZIDANE 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Overall Choice. Europe XI captain and goalscorer in the match. By far the strongest player association with this shirt.
KLUIVERT 9 ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Best Forward Choice. One of Europe's most recognisable young forwards of the period and the starting No.9.
INCE 8 ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Best English Player Choice. Started in midfield wearing No.8 and provides a particularly strong option for the UK market.
HIERRO 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Defensive Choice. One of the most recognisable European defenders of the era and a starter in the match.
BALAKOV 7 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Cult Choice. The Bulgarian playmaker wore No.7 and started alongside Zidane and Ince.
LĂCĂTUȘ 13 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Match-Specific Choice. Particularly interesting because he scored Europe XI's opening goal.

ZIDANE 10 is the definitive printing choice for the FIFA Europe XI 1997 L/S Retro Football Shirt.

Zinedine Zidane captained the Europe XI in the special exhibition match against the FIFA Rest of World XI at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille on 4 December 1997. Wearing No.10, Zidane scored Europe XI's second goal in a match featuring an extraordinary collection of international stars.

KLUIVERT 9 provides the strongest forward alternative, while INCE 8 is an excellent choice for collectors looking for an English player connection.

For a more unusual match-specific option, LĂCĂTUȘ 13 has particularly strong historical relevance because he scored Europe XI's other goal.
