The Japan 2026 Away L/S Football Shirt presents a clean alternative look for the Samurai Blue during the 2026 international season and FIFA World Cup 2026 cycle. The long-sleeve version is confirmed as part of Japan’s official 2026 away range, alongside the short-sleeve edition.
The shirt moves away from Japan’s traditional deep-blue home identity, using a predominantly light neutral/off-white base combined with contrasting blue detailing. They became the first nation other than the three host countries to secure qualification, continuing a remarkable run of World Cup appearances that stretches back to their tournament debut in 1998.
Hajime Moriyasu selected an experienced squad for the tournament built around players including Takefusa Kubo, Ritsu Doan, Wataru Endo, Daichi Kamada, Ayase Ueda, Junya Ito, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Hiroki Ito.
