Portsmouth's 2026–27 home jersey celebrates a historic milestone for the city and its football club. Marking 100 years since Portsmouth received city status in 1926, this special design brings together the traditions of Pompey, the pride of its supporters and the unmistakable identity of England's historic naval city. The commemorative shirt represents more than a new football season, reflecting the connection between Portsmouth Football Club and the community that has supported it for generations.

Competing in the EFL Championship under manager John Mousinho, Portsmouth continues its journey in English football with a squad combining established players and emerging talent. Striker Colby Bishop remains an important attacking figure, while captain Marlon Pack provides leadership and experience in midfield. Josh Murphy contributes pace and creativity, supported by attacking players including Adrian Segečić and Abu Kamara. Ebou Adams, Regan Poole and Zak Swanson add further strength to a team representing the club's ambitions at Fratton Park.

The 2026–27 home jersey retains Portsmouth's traditional royal-blue foundation, complemented by distinctive gold detailing introduced specifically for the city's centenary celebrations. The club crest features a special gold-and-blue presentation, creating a striking contrast against the familiar royal-blue fabric. Matching gold elements across the chest establish a coordinated appearance that distinguishes this anniversary design from previous Portsmouth home shirts.

A dark-blue neckline inspired by classic early-2000s football styling adds a nostalgic character to the modern silhouette. Matching dark-blue sleeve cuffs provide further definition, while contrasting white side panels introduce a clean, athletic appearance. Beneath the rear collar, a special Portsmouth100 1926–2026 emblem commemorates the city's historic anniversary.

The University of Portsmouth sponsor appears prominently across the chest, while the coordinated gold detailing extends to the club's specially selected EFL player names and numbers for the season. The complete home strip combines the royal-blue jersey with traditional white shorts and red socks, preserving one of English football's most recognisable colour combinations.

Club captain Marlon Pack also contributed to the shirt's development, offering his perspective as both a professional player and a lifelong Portsmouth supporter. His involvement reinforces the design's emphasis on authenticity, local pride and the relationship between the club and its community.

With its distinctive gold centenary details, classic blue-and-white colour scheme and special commemorative identity, the Portsmouth 2026–27 Home Football Jersey celebrates a century of city pride while representing the next chapter in Pompey's football history.

The 2026/27 season sees Portsmouth continue their campaign in the EFL Championship under John Mousinho, with Fratton Park once again at the heart of the club’s season.

This season carries additional significance because of the Portsmouth100 celebrations. The city was granted city status in 1926, and throughout 2026 the football club has participated in events recognising the centenary and the long-standing relationship between Pompey and its local community.

The home shirt reflects that theme while retaining the traditional royal blue associated with Portsmouth. The gold treatment of the famous Star and Crescent crest gives the 2026/27 shirt an immediately identifiable anniversary-season character.

The squad combines experienced Pompey figures such as Colby Bishop, Josh Murphy and Marlon Pack with younger attacking talent including Adrian Segečić and Thomas Waddingham, giving the 2026/27 side a mixture of established Championship experience and emerging players.

  • Rec. Player Printing Options

    Printing Recommendation
SEGEČIĆ 10 Exciting Australian attacking midfielder/winger and one of Portsmouth’s standout young talents. His creativity, goalscoring potential and No.10 shirt make this an excellent current-season choice.
BISHOP 9 Established Portsmouth centre-forward and one of the club’s most recognisable players of the modern era. The traditional No.9 is a classic Pompey printing option.
MURPHY 23 Experienced winger and an important attacking figure for Portsmouth, known for his pace, creativity and ability to create chances from wide areas.
PACK 7 Portsmouth-born midfielder and experienced club leader. His local connection makes PACK 7 a particularly meaningful choice for the Portsmouth100 season.
WADDingham 20 Talented young Australian centre-forward and one of the club’s promising developing attackers. A strong option for supporters looking for a younger-generation player.
ADAMS 38 Gambia international midfielder who brings energy, physicality and leadership to the Portsmouth midfield.
POOLE 5 Wales international centre-back and an established defensive presence, offering a strong option for supporters who prefer a senior defensive player.

SEGEČIĆ 10 is the standout printing recommendation for the Youth Portsmouth 2026/27 Home Kit.

Adrian Segečić joined Portsmouth after an outstanding period with Sydney FC, where he scored 18 goals in his final A-League season. Portsmouth described him on arrival as an attack-minded player capable of operating either as a winger or No.10.

Now wearing the No.10 shirt, Segečić represents the younger generation of Portsmouth’s squad and is particularly relevant for the 2026/27 season. For a youth version of this special Portsmouth100 home kit, SEGEČIĆ 10 is an especially fitting current-player printing choice.
